Welcome to Bailey Cone Ceramics, where ceramic art meets equestrian passion. I specialize in creating unique vases with hand-sculpted horse appliqués and detailed horse carvings that capture the essence of these magnificent animals.

Each piece begins with a vision - whether customer-guided for a custom piece or an abstract carving bringing the horse’s spirit to life. I carefully throw each vase before adding the meticulously crafted sculptures that complete it.

My horse carvings represent a special collaboration. While I handle all clay work and carving, the original drawings that inspire these pieces are created by my mom, whose lifetime of artistic skill and love for horses shines through every sketch. Together, we transform her two-dimensional visions into three-dimensional art.

Please note that due to the very time consuming process of creating custom orders, I am sometimes limited to the number of pieces I can turn around in a reasonable time. Having multiple firings with community kiln waits, plus the time it takes to makes the pieces, my lead and turnaround time can be anywhere from 3-5 weeks! Please be patient! :)
